Garnet Hadley (Penelope Ann Miller) has been avoiding romantic relationships in the two years since her husband's death. Her neighbors in the town of Sweetwater, unwilling to see the pretty young widow continue her lonely lifestyle, have begun setting her up on dates--and even her father-in-law Mike (Barry Corbin) has gotten in on the act. To avoid the town's meddling, Garnet hires a "boyfriend" from an out-of-town escort service to spend a week pretending to be madly in love.     Great catchy title

    This is one of the best written movies I've seen in a long long time! Dialog is superb, the people for the parts are superb! One movie I can watch again and again! the beginning doctors office experiences are absolutely hysterical!

    Penelope Ann Miller!

    The female lead, Penelope Ann Miller, has eyes as big as Jen Lilley’s, and that is saying something. She carried this movie with her wit, humor, and personality. There was a good juxtaposition with her being super tough in the beginning and very soft in the end. Good supporting cast too. This movie is worth watching multiple times.
