Holes should be bigger. Test fitted it to my trailer 3 times, pinched the pins every time. Opening the pins the 3rd time a pin broke. I had to buy a new pin plug. The plug I had was fairly new and only used about 10 times and is a Britax brand, not a cheap no brand name. It is impossible to make a 1 size fits all. When other buyers have discovered that the pin is a little tight they will drill out the holes to match the pin size. They do not attempt to smash it in so the pin breaks. Maybe if you would have contacted us when issues arose we would have been more than happy to help out.
