The balance was destroyed in transit. The seller eventually issued a refund, though was rather slow to do so, and needed prompting to respond to messages. Better packaging would have prevented this (remove the pan before shipping and protect the arm so that no weight or shock can affect it from outside and the full weight of the balance can't rest on it if the parcel is turned upside down!). Only giving positive rating due to the refund; a very disappointing transaction.

Hi,
We are sorry that our service was not up to our usual standards.
We sell lab supplies on eBay and because of this we were restricted by eBay for 10 days for listing an item that did not meet their guidelines. This meant that we were on on ebay every day checking messages etc.
This meant that we were unable to carry out our usual service on this occasion.
We gave you the scale as a gesture of goodwill and hopefully it is fixable.
