    Beautiful and instructive

    No other book about this topic (and I´ve got quite a few) has the astonishing ships, soldiers and warfare illustrations this one gives you. Lots of information about battles, weapons of all kinds, uniforms, etc. It´s mainly about greek and roman armies but also covers the enemies of both in the different wars they were involved. Highly recommended.
