A good social media instrument
The 10 is quite a step up from the 7 in picture resolution, speed and battery life. I would rate: 1) Screen resolution is at least 60% better than its older cousin 7 particularly its camera lens quality used in social media interaction. 2) It performs 100% better than Fire7 in term of speed. That is a great plus for streaming movies and Youtube. 3) Battery is impressive. I used it with Messenger video chat for nearly two hours straight and battery capacity dropped from 100% to 81%. Overall I consider the Fire 10 to be worth the extra cost over the Fire 7. The 10 is quite a step up from the 7 in picture resolution, speed and battery life. Upgraded to the fire 10" from the fire 7"for a little bit more money you get a great quality tablet. Don't second guess yourself, grab the 10 inch. Grand kids love it. I'm going to also upgrade my tablet to the 10".
