A few years ago I bought a DIMEX motorcycle cordura Textile trousers. Has the lining on the inside was worn and it wasn't waterproof anymore I decided to buy a new one. I saw this upgraded version with pockets and modern striping, so I bought the same size (36) as the first pair was a good fit and not to tight over my normal clothes. Wat a shock, the ordered 36 was like 2 sizes too small. Far too tight and unusable. Had to send it back (at great cost). So this is something to keep in mind.
