    Part came in a reasonable amount of time, works as it should so far. Would have had to wait weeks to get it new from Subaru since they were on backorder, saved me from having to go without a working HVAC system during the cold/rainy New England fall weather. Item was packaged well. Only defect was a small chip in part of the plastic, although it did not impact installation/function and isn't visible once installed, so not a problem at all. Electrical connections were all in good shape.

    No perfect but I made it work

    Item arrived dirty, had a piece dislocated out of position (I was able to get in snapped back in without it breaking) and had a broken retaining clip (I was able to hold things together with a zip tie). It was not in the condition it should have been but I was able to make it work.

    Correct replacement

    The resistor burned out which damaged the fan speed switch. Replacing this and the resistor restored full fan speed functions.
