      Upgrade your coop

      The only complaints are the wiring for the door sensor was too short and I had to splice an extension on it. If I put the control box closer tho the sensor then the other wires would be to short. Second one, the door does not close after the sensor is triggered to open it. The description says it will close after 30 seconds. Not happening. Manual makes no reference to it. Probably not a feature everyone would use but in my case it would help.

      So far so good.

      Its made decently and works really great overall for the money. Time will tell concerning durability. The actual mechanical installation directions for the door are really vague so I am glad I waited until I had this product in hand and did some really close measuring before cutting the exact size hole needed in the side of my chicken house. The directions about the wiring and the mother board for the door’s control system were however very clear and very helpful as the wires that come with this are maybe 3-1/2 feet long so I had to add several feet of 18 gauge primary wire for both the power supply and the photo cell light sensor to properly work on my particular my chicken house.

      Excellent, dependable, solar-powered coop door

      This is my second purchase of this coop door. The first one is still working great with a new battery after a year and a half. I now have a second coop and wanted the same, dependable, automatic chicken coop door. They have made many improvements since I first bought one, and it made the instalation even easier. I don't have power at my coops and the solar powered door works great!

      Very easy to install.

      It's a good product. but has one flaw, on manual mode the door will still shut automatically. Have not figured out that problem yet.
