Walking with GREATness
The entire "Walking with..." series from the BBC, is breathtaking. Most of the effects look real, and the stories told, although carefully constructed based on somewhat limited data, are logical. I also like the time-lapse that takes us from today, back 250,000,000 years. On the whole, it is well done, well filmed, and well thought out. I have watched Walking With Dinosaurs about 10 times from start to finish, and I can say, I'll watch it plenty more times. My 5 year old son likes it as well, even though there are a couple parts that I shield his eyes. If you are considering buying this DVD, don't hesitate. I purchased this DVD for my five year old grandson, diagnoised with asperger syndrome. He loves it! He watched it every day for weeks recalling every detail and learning the names of dinosaurs. Currently he is watching the documentary on the making of Walking with Dinosaurs. The surprise was how quick the DVD arrived in the mails. This company is remarkable in providing service. I decided to purchase this because my 6-year old son loves dinosaurs. Not only is this movie informative, it is entertaining and enlightening. We learned how the dinosaurs lived, what they ate, where they lived and how they interacted with each other and other species. It was a superbly done production . . . I honestly felt like I was walking with the dinosaurs! So realistic! Fantastic! My son is enthralled with the movie and watches it several times a week while playing with his dinosaurs!I decided to purchase this because my 6-year old son loves dinosaurs.
