Have used this product for years for all sorts of applications where slipping is either bad for an object or dangerous to a person. It started with putting narrow strips of this tape around the periphery of a laptop computer -- an expensive disaster if it falls out of your hands. If you buy a set of tape strips for a laptop from an electronic store, it costs $10. A short piece of this tape, in 2 inch width, costs a fraction of that. All you have to do is to cut the tape into strips. There are many applications for the tape, like on a towel bar to stop the towel from falling to the floor. Junk Don't Buy
I bought this thinking that the more expensive/name brand stuff would perform better and last longer. I was dead wrong. Applied to clean boards on my ramp....70 degrees outside....boards cleaned and wiped down with alcohol....tape warmed a bit with hair dryer....applied to board. They lasted a whole week before they started peeling off the boards. One day of 30 degree weather and they curled up and fell the rest of the way off. Its junk. Going back on ebay and ordering the cheaper, no brand name and better quality stuff.
