This review is for the sound quality of the mfsl version of this album first of all. Not especially for the music. (This album is one of the best albums in the pop history so I think the music deserves five stars without any doubt.) By way of introduction: all of my mfsl cd review must be understand as reviewing and criticizing the best sounding digital version of the referred album. (Not to be compared to an ordinary cd.) Preferences in the sound: Warm and detailed analogue-like sound. Enough stage and air between the instruments. Good bass drum sound. Accurate (optical) reflection of the master tapes. Inconveniences in the sound: Harsh hi-hat cymbals and some distortion on vocal in some places. Too much bass in some places. ****

Great album, great sound quality and its the best I ever heard this album. Yes, its a little bass heavy but only on a few tracks. Not disappointed at all!

What a great album! Stevie Wonder at his creative best. Outstanding sound quality, superb remastering, I could listen to this all day and night.
