I was very happy, finally finding, this Large Print version for my mother, even though I thought $9.99 shipping was a bit excessive. My happiness continued until I opened the shipping container and found a receipt itemizign book and shipping which totaled $15.00 less than I paid. Your suggestion for me to ignore the receipt was not the solution I was looking for when I contacted you. Perhaps a better solution would have been to apologize and insure you would be more cautious for future sales.

My true ideas on the John Lingenfelter book
Modifying the small block Chevy is outlined very well in this book. John does not do anything different that other top engine builders and if one follows this alone, the results will be very good without sending you to the poor house. Lingenfelter does not get exotic as Bill Grumpy Jenkins or Henry Smokey Yunick. can and did, instead chooses stock parts that work well together. Lingenfelter reiterates the fact that a stock Chevy oil system is more than adequate, no need for high volume pumps. It covers block preparation and what you can do to improve the casting. There are lists of casting numbers and he points out which head to be on the lookout for. Usually he has a part number or casting number for parts he chooses. He delves lightly into the factory fuel injection units pointing out ... Modifying the small block Chevy is outlined very well in this book. SBC modifying
I really like this book. I believe it is geared more for the machinist, yet it is rolled out in language that a layman can understand. It’s given me some great ideas on how to modify my L98 TPI...all that’s missing is a budget for me. Ha. I recommend this book.
