Not good for OTA TV control.
The most important OTA TV controls do not work. I have two of these remotes, and both suffer from the same flaw. When watching OTA, pressing either the up/down channel button or the numeric keypad causes the remote to revert to control of the cable box. All other TV functions work OK, just can't change channels, which makes it useless for controlling a TV. It also does not offer any option for controlling a streaming device (e.g. Roku). The layout is also less user friendly than the obsolete URC 7820B00 that it replaced. I use this remote for controlling cable, DVD and sound bar, but am looking for a remote the works better for me.The most important OTA TV controls do not work. Remote is too large
I find it too large, hard for my wife to handle. I do not know if it is the remote not working or another problem, but every morning when we turn the TV on it says there is no signal and we can spend 5 minutes before getting the TV to get a picture.
