Pintech practice cymbals a usable product
Pintech practice cymbals aren’t what I expected. I couldn’t get much information about them prior to purchase. What I was looking for was practice pads that could be used to simulate cymbals. I guess these are that but I expected them to be more rubber than plastic. Maybe that’s my fault for not finding out or assuming. These practice cymbals are plastic and pretty loud. Trying to practice jazz ride cymbals patterns wasn’t working well. The hi hat cymbals are so perfectly matched that everytime I stomp down they suction to each other and the top cymbal lifts the bottom one completely off the seating. I combated these issues by buying some rubber sheets from Home Depot. These are the sheets that people cut to make washers or grommets from. I put one sheet inside the high hat and now they ... With some work these became practical. However, like I said I had a very specific use in mind when I purchased them.
