Another Inexpensive Winner from Casio
Love this design over most of the other AE1200 designs. The green map makes it look more interesting. Planning to use the module from this in the silver version with the stainless bracelet for my own take on the Casio Royale. Only gripe is that the band is a bit too long on my tiny 6.25" wrists and there is too much hanging out. I'll do what I did with my AE1300 and trim it off in bezeled shape to match the design, using a file to smooth off the cut. Casio makes some of the best and most interesting inexpensive watches with loads of functions and rugged durability. Love them. Love this design over most of the other AE1200 designs. Great Inexpensive Watch
I have a couple of these, a black with a black map and black resin band, and a silver one with black map and a SS band. For what you pay for this watch, usually anywhere between $20 and$30, you get a LOT of watch in return. It takes care of all the basic features such as regular timekeeping and an alarm clock, then expands on that with true World Time with DST, instead of an alarm, there are five of them, an hourly chime, and a countdown timer. There's also a smaller, analog clock in the upper left hand corner that displays the current time for whatever you have set for your main timekeeping screen. About the only thing missing is an EL backlight instead of the two orange LED lights in the bottom corners. It's a decent size, easy to see, easy to operate, it looks good, it's comfortable, ... With three different color models available, and two AE1300 models, if you're even a little handy with regard to watch disassembly and reassembly, there are many color and band combinations you can create. Since the two models use the same case and the maskings come out easily, it's easy to put your masking and module into any case and swap out any band onto it.

The watch gets in the way of long sleeves in the Winter, the strap makes my skin sweat and itch in the Summer if wore long durations. The buttons could be bigger.
