How incredible can an ebay purchase experience be? Incredibly incredible. Surprised to find a first pressing with minimal wear and successful black tape removal, I jumped on the opportunity to purchase the fairly priced compact disc. Payment was processed and I received notification of shipping the same day. Incredibility +2. The package arrived in a safe and secure envelope, free of scuffs or cracks. Incredibility +3. Thank you, Maris, and please add a permanent +5 to your incredibility score.

  • great concert compilation, sound quality and performance make it well worth purchasing.

Owsley Stanley recorded this compilation, and in my humble opinion he did a fantastic job. This release is recordings from two shows, and not one complete show. Oh well, cause what is offered up is awesome! I went into having heard the Other One from 2/13/70 and was thrilled to find it is the one included in this release. I believe the majority is from 2/14/70. I had heard good things about this Dark Star, and they are true. There is a lot of heart in these performances. Caution is another highlight. One more note, if you like Phil's bass tone from this time period this release is a no brainer. Hope this helps...NFA

  • This is the BEST Dick's Picks

For me, this era of the Dead is their best. This is a FANTASTIC concert. If you like Workingmans Dead, American Beauty, Europe 72...then this is for you. The Allman Brothers opened that night (that recording is available too...it's also great).

  • Good ole Grateful Dead

These shows were always part of any tapers collection. They are pristine in quality and content. The linear notes by Bear alone are worth the price of admission.
