    Wonderful historical research.

    This book explores the methods used to protect the king and ministers of old Okinawa. Dispels many myths. Describes the roots of Shotokan and explains many of the basic concepts at the heart of this style of karate. Tells why "one strike, one kill" was so important.

    Great book and great price.

    I brought the book Shotokan's Secret to get a better understanding of the history of Okinawa arts. The book was very good, it answer many of my questions a bout the Okinawa arts, and yes I would buy or recommed this book to anyone interested in Okinawa arts and history.
