I got one of these from ebay after my old one died in the rain. It's a small-ish tablet phone but it has GPS, ok internet use, radio and mp3, synchronises with Outlook for contacts and appointments, and has a decent camera with Xenon flash. It's hard to find a similar phone with these features that isn't bigger and loaded with dubiously useful app functionality, and Xenon flashes are very rare now.
extremely happy with my new phone, has an amazing camera and hold a good amount of songs, has a lot of photo space the small down fall would be the battery life as doesn't stay charge for long even without phoning or txting.
I've had one of these since they first came out and, it's great to have a back-up. I'm a Singer and also a DJ and I use it to play my backing tracks and then as a 2nd sound source on my Disco. Awesome! 😁 P.S. The camera side is pretty special, too and, is ready to use at the flick of a switch, without having to unlock the phone etc.

i had this before and when that one reached the end after over two years i bought it agaiin. mainly for the mic, speaker, picture and video quality. the video playback without zoom is tv quality and the sound on playback is amazin to. excellent for recording live music in darkened bars and so on. everyone else has mentioned everything else worth mentioning.
It has a great camera, S60 Feature Pack 2 (the latest), Fast 3.5G Network access. GPS and a fast processor. Works well with CountDa (http://store.ovi.com/content/54854) and together make of it a great phone.

I have been invited to write a review about this phone and as I believe the 6220 to be the best phone iv'e ever had I thought why not share my thoughts. I've had a few phones including samsung, ericsson, and many nokia's, (im not into touch screens)the 6220 is by far the best one i've owned so far. I think mobiles have reached a level now where they have peaked as far as the technology you can fit into a device of this size, the 6220 is no exception. If you want a phone that does everything and i mean everything, this is the phone for you. I'm terrible for using my phone for multiple tasks at the same time and the 6220's S60 operating system handles this with ease, i've had 8 tasks open at once no problem. The menu system is easy to navigate and has lots of detailed options for personalisation. GPS built in and works well, accesses the satelites quickly while on the move. I use it with google maps. Internet access is adequate and always accessable whereever you are thanks to the phone having quad bands including 3G 2G and EDGE. Camera is exceptional, 5MP with carl zeiss optics and a good flash pictures come out great every time. Lens has shutter too to keep it safe. The 6220 also boasts 30 frames per second video recording which is currently about the best fps your going to get out of a mobile phone. Most are only capable of 15 fps and is just not enough going off past experience. A very good speaker located at the top of the phone at last as opposed to being on the back and the sound quality is good. I am going to leave it here, you can discover the rest for yourself. A great phone. My next phone will be the nokia E52 purley because it has all the specs of the 6220 but employing a slighlty bigger screen, a slightly thinner aspect and nokia's cutting edge 600mhz ARM processor. The E52 also encorporates a big battery that has outstanding life. Basically a tweaked version of the 6220 in my opinion. Unfortunatley the E52 can only perform to 15 fps video recording and a 3.2 MP camera, still a usable standard. Anyhow I'l be here all day talking about the E52, I hope i've helped your decision a little.Read full review
the 6220 classic is one of the smallest smartphones nokia have made to date it is jammed with features for a handset this size including , gps , bluetooth , 5mp camera with xenon flash , symbian os feature pack 2 (same as the n96), mp3 player , 3g connection , video calling , radio , as the handset is made mostly of plastic not only is it small but its incredibly light as well the only gripe with this is the handset actually feels a little cheaper then what it is and what its capable of you could call it a sleeper if you like as it looks a bit cheap but is a incredible powerhouse the 6220 classic has an incredible 128mb or ram and a steady and pleasing 72mb or ram at boot so you can multi task away and not worry about low memory warnings the processor is also pretty decent and with feature pack 2 that adds to a stable and fast device to use the gps locks on very fast when using agps and the camera takes amazing pictures in the night or day , seriously i used this phone in a nightclub and the shots were very good with the xenon flash the mp3 player is very good indeed and when coupled with a 3.5mm adapter and a decent set of headphone sit could give many mp3 players a run for their money i have a 16gb micro sd card in mine and the phone handles that very well indeed it is full up and their is no slowdown at all when browsing through the phone there are a few niggling things about the phone which would include the 2.5mm headphone socket , this was probs to keep the size down but you will need a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter to use most headphones and the ones nokia supply are rubbish , theres no wifi which is allways handy to have allthough 3g speeds are very fast there often not free like wifi , the screen is a little small but is very bright and easy to see allthough they could have fitted a .2 of an inch more in there the handset does feel plasticy which isnt great and there are a few creaks when handled the battery is a little small 900mah but the handset does fit the n82 battery which is 1050mah so that will increase life a bit :-) overall id say that the 6220 classic was a great handset with great features ata great price , it pretty much does everything the n series handsets do bar wifi and it even has a 5mp camera with xenon flash which takes great pictures , the plastic feel might be a bit much for some people and the 2.5mm headphone socket may deter people but there is no denying that for this price the 6220 classic is an amazing handset i love the way its so small but does nearly everything the much bigger n95 can do , it feels nice in the hand and when i look at it iam amazed at how nokia fitted so much technolagy into a small package , great achievement thanks for reading my review , please exscuse the spelling and why not check out some off my others thanks againRead full review
