I like the fact that it includes all music from The Phantom Menace Movie. It has some music I really like that is found on no other Star Wars Soundtrack. I do not like how the tracks are separated. Each track is only a few minutes long, and it usually connects to the ones before and after it. This is a problem for me since I rip my CD's and play them on my iPod. Thus, I decided to combine the smaller tracks into larger tracks. Still, this is Star Wars - my favorite! - so I am excited to own this CD. P.S. I watched the movie again after listening to this soundtrack for a few months, and the CD is not 100% what is on the movie. There are large and small changes, the most obvious being the Parade and the Credits.
When I 1st saw The Phantom Menace back in 1999, The 1st thing I realize was the fact that in every other Star Wars movie was the movie's music by John Williams, it reminded me of the 1977 original Star Wars movie filled with great music. I loved it then & I love it now along with the rest of the music in all of rest of the Star Wars movies including this 1.
Not only are the discs full of great music that Williams always delivers, the casing is very artistic aswell as the booklet. As always, the music of Star Wars is moving and in my opinion, brings you back to those classic moments in the movies it's based on.
This score is the best of the new Star Wars movies. John Williams truly captures the old school feel of the original three movies. Best part is every note recorded for the movie is in this 2 disc set.
