Very rare Casio Divers watch.
This is an ultra rare watch to find in this condition. It debuted in 1981 as one of Casio's first ever divers watch. This particular watch is in great condition considering its age, 39 years old. There are no scratches on the case, the watch band is in great condition, the glass has one tiny scratch that is hardly noticeable. The band is an authentic 22mm wide Casio two piece strap resin band. The watch itself is an analog as well as a digital watch, it is able to display the day and date, it has an alarm setting capability and a time display feature as well. All of the digital setting are controlled by the crown. The hands and hour markers are luminescent. The watch is in great condition(considering its age) and it is in 100% perfect working condition. Good looking Casio diver, but fragile functions.
This is a good looking watch. It keeps quartz time fine. The digital window is little more than a novelty; and it is the Achilles heal of the MMA-200W/340. Ebay is a boneyard of these with the digital dead. I was very leery about getting the watch, because once the digital craps out; there is no fixing it. The functions are from the dawn of digi/ani watches; there is no count down or stopwatch. It has four functions: day-date / alarm / time / seconds. The alarm would not wake a gnat. It takes a few minutes to get the hang of the crown for shifting and setting the digital functions. I am pleased because it has a good look. I am afraid one good konk to the crown will kill the digital. This is a good looking watch. It keeps quartz time fine.
