    Products features & installment purposes

    Great trade mark article as all of their other ones. I bought this gasket to finish an engine which was lend from one of my customer, because his was change because a connecting rod went noisy. And I decided to rebuilt it to earn some bucks for my broken pocket. The engine was remanufactured to "O" mile with every single part replace with new & OEM parts to assure the quality it really deserves for warranty purposes. Great buy, Thanks.....................

    Unnecessary

    When I removed the old oil pan (the drain hole was stripped) I noticed it had no gasket, only gasket-making product. I used the gasket anyway. It fit fine and stayed in place well using the supplied gasket adhesive, but it started to leak after the engine had run for a few minutes. The gasket, which I probably over-tightened, had blown out in a couple of spots. The second time around I used Permatex Ultra Black only, following their directions and it sealed up perfectly.
