    Old versions

    This CD is of the original format. Not remastered, so some of the tracks sound inferior, not just lower volume, to the later remastered versions. I prefer having the original material prior to remastering, as the mix may also be different. It is still a good product, and it’s a matter of taste, which is hard to review, so the four star rating is due to the inferior sound quality to that of later versions.

    It is a good CD to go back in time!!!

    I had CDs of most of America's Greatest CDs but they were missed placed in my move from Texas to North Carolina!!! I was so glad to find this CD of their Greatest Hits at a great price!!! It is an excellent CD for those who loved the group American.

    Worth every penny

    I've liked this album since it came out. Have you ever noticed that their albums begin with H? Horse, History, Harbor, Hearts, etc. Anyways, this brings back remembrances of days at YMCA camp when someone had a guitar. This is top-shelf music, and even though this is a compilation, the studio albums are great. Highly recommended. It didn't fit my format on the radio, but I played the albums at home. Grey sleeve.
