Perfect for bike trainer. No Noise
Its amazing how much noise a tire can make on a trainer. Even a nearly slick tire makes a lot of noise compared to these. I was surprised at how true they installed. This tire is truly slick. No texture at all. Usually I have to rework the tire for a while before I can get it to sit perfectly round. I am not sure I got lucky, but it set perfect on first fill up. I have no intention of using this tire outside of the trainer, but it appears it would hold up to punctures better than most. The ride area is is pretty thick and probably the reason its so heavy. Its not light, and 711 grams. There are much lighter versions. I chose this because I wanted it to last on the trainer, and in hopes it would be quieter than my previous tire.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good tire for indoor bike trainer!
I bought this tire to reduce both the noise and wear on my rear mountain bike (Kenda Nevegal X) tire on my indoor bike trainer. Problem solved. It's practically silent other than a quiet "shhhhhh" sound. Now I only hear my chain and gears, which is totally acceptable.
