    Great hitch for light weight trailers

    I reviewed and researched as many products as I could before I made my purchase. Yes, price was a factor but not the only one. I looked for product design and durability issues before I settled on this 3 pt hitch. But, keep in mind that you usually get what you pay for. I am not moving around 12,000# trailers. But if I was, I wouldn’t use this hitch. It’s built well, a great design, but it’s a little light with thinner steel. The hitch receptacle is a little bit too large for the ball hitch inserted but It shouldn’t affect what I am doing, moving lightweight trailers, and there is no sense in buying something 4 times more expensive to do that. For me, it works fine.

    Lightweight with some concerns

    This is a not a heavy duty receiver in my opinion. The steel is extremely light making the 3 point receiver light weight which will work great for what most people would use it for. I would not recommend using it on a tractor if you are moving a 5th wheel camper for storage or just to move heavy trailers as it will probably bend. I had to drill out for the top receiver pin as it was welded incorrectly (see photos). If it is light trailers you need to move around this will work well as a kid can easily carry it to where you are with the tractor for installation. The installation is a breeze as stated it is extremely light so you definitely will not be fighting to install it. I will not know of the quality of the steel until my neighbor uses it.
