I love to read books about Texas Rangers whether early or present day. They are the top of the line. Blu was no exception, he was the best of the best. He also could not turn down helping a lady. Delana needed to get her away from her step father. He wanted to marry her to someone who would help him get her inheritance. Blu was a Texas Ranger and decided with his boss' approval to let Delana pose as his wife. Then they could leave town together and get to his next assignment. Blu did not want Delana to know who he was or what his work was. She was so happy to get away from her stepfather and did not question Blu's work. Blu goes undercover and learns about the ranchers cutting barbed wire in Texas. Many ranchers wanted an open range for their herds, but a law as passed preventing open range grazing. So many took to cutting the wire . This was the first book by Holly Harte that I have read. I hope to read others. This was a good read.
