    Happy with product and shipping

    Autoharp in good condition, needs new strings (which I can install), anchor plate is stable, no warping of frame or top plate. The era where Oscar Schmidt autoharps were manufactured in Japan had fairly good quality control and the tuning pins were not loose, strings kept in tune.

    Product condition said new, but it was clearly not new

    Product condition said new, but when I received the item, it had a scratch near the sound hole. It also sounded horrible. I knew it was going to sound bad before I even tuned it. Not happy.

    What's not to love about an Oscar Schmidt autoharp? :D

    I am very happy with this 15-chord Oscar Schmidt autoharp. After playing an antique 12-chord Oscar Schmidt for many years, it does take a little getting used to the positioning of the additional three chord bars, but it is SO worth it. Am very happy I made this purchase.

    A Great Autoharp

    Most 'harps of this age are scratched, warped and have loose pins. This one has apparently been kept in its box since purchased and is in great shape. It has good volume, the bars have great pads, it holds a tuning extremely well. At only $40 it was a wonderful deal.
