    Item was received as described. However, shipping was a not great. I reached out to the seller and asked if they could overnight the part the day I purchased, but they never responded, and it took a month to ship. I could understand this if it had to be ordered new from the manf, but if it was stock I think they could have shipped more quickly. I would have happily paid a premium to get the part sooner. Buyer beware as the site said they don't check it regularly, so in the end it's on me.

    A replacement for a corded Makita Saw

    I have a 25 year old Makita corded reciprocating saw that has cut everything, (fallen trees, tree roots, trailer tongues, etc) that I needed to cut. This saw cuts at least as fast and is a lot quicker to get into action. I really like the blade change design. On price, when I did the math before I bought it, I thought it only had 1 battery. It came with 2. If you are like me and have decided on 18V makita as your standard battery, this makes it a grand bargain
