Creeper seat good and cheap
Got this for working on my motorcycle. Went together easily and seems to be quite well made, should last. I'm a big guy and it supports me without any creaks or groans. A previous reviewer complained that the bolts for attaching the actual seat cushion were wrong and that he had to use wood screws. These bolts worked fine for me, screwing into the captive nuts in the seat base...all I had to do was feel where the holes were with my thumb and use a screwdriver to pierce the fabric covering over them, then the bolts went in just fine. The seat is a little small for someone of my size, but is still large enough to allow me to work on the bike more comfortably than on the floor. Cheapers Creepers
This is a robust, high-quality item which is also tremendous value for money. However, it does require some assembly which rewards a bit of care and time being taken. I would also suggest that at least 4 additional washers are needed in order to mount the castors correctly. (And the domed nuts and bolts would appear to have a US AF/Whitworth thread - which explained why none of my regular spanners fitted !)This is a robust, high-quality item which is also tremendous value for money. However, it does require some assembly which rewards a bit of care and time being taken. I would also suggest that at least 4 additional washers are needed in order to mount the castors correctly. It arrived quickly and was well packed, no damage. Quite easy to assemble until you get to fitting the seat. if you cannot afford a big brand premium sofa, get this one , it's ok for the price.
After using this chair for 2 months, I can can only say that it is ok for the price paid. Wheel stems will bend if not properly secured tight, and screws get loose and fall off if you do not retighten them weekly. Did not fail under my weight yet , so it might be ok for lighter mechanics ( me=110kg of live animal) . The added comfort for your knees is priceless, so , if you cannot afford a big brand premium sofa, get this one , it's ok for the price.After using this chair for 2 months, I can can only say that it is ok for the price paid.
