    Typical Rush Quality!

    RUSH is my favorite band! Always have been "since 1974" and always will be! I am one of the "Original Rush Fans" Impatiently awaiting the release of their second release "Fly By Night" So SAD was I when I realized that their drummer had "already" been replaced! I thought "here we go" anything that I like will soon turn to crap! Not So! Once I put on the "album" yea,that`s what I said ALBUM! Anyway,once I put the "Album' on the "spindle" and cranked the volume,well my preconceived judgement of the "NEW" drummer quickly changed! I thought that RUSH was "MY" band! I quickly realized that this was a "Secret" that I could NOT contain! Several years later,I am just "Another" lifelong fan! Although I am an "Original" "Groundfloor Fan" I am still just a fan. Like ALL other LIVE "RUSH" DVD`S this ...

    Newer Songs, Concert Rarities, Humor, and Professionalism Make R40 Blu-ray a Delight to Watch

    The RUSH R40 concert is great. First they start out in Set 1 with a number of songs I was not familiar with, from their last two albums, but I liked them. Then in set 2 they do a treat of songs you don't always hear in concert: Losing It, Natural Science, Jacob's Ladder. Then the bonus songs are great. It is always fascinating and funny watching the interaction between the three band members. And it was funny watching their stage set changing throughout the show.

    A great product from an incredibly great band that has lasted 40 years and hasn't missed a beat one bit! One of the greatest exports Canada has ever sent us, no question about it! If you love Rush like I do, you've GOTTA own this, no question! This was definitely money well spent, no question! Deservedly so in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well too! One of Canada's finest! :-)
