About this product
Product Information
Prepare your mind, body, and soul for a horrific game of hide and seek, where you are the hunted! From the people at Psygnosis comes this bone-chilling, mind-numbing strategy title that will make you dive into your brain and cringe with fear. The game is Sentinel Returns for the PlayStation.

You are a scientist, exploring the mysteries of an unknown substance. When this mysterious substance is given to an equally unknown specimen, a world dominated by The Sentinel is revealed. In this unreal universe, the battle for life's very essence is in motion. Possibly, when you finish with the hundreds of specimens that you have, you will seek the answers to your questions. However, failing this task has unknown repercussions....

Now you must go through 650 levels of terror, where The Sentinel is waiting for you around every corner. In each encounter, you must "absorb" energy from "trees" that litter the landscape. However, your movement is constricted to transferring around in "robot hosts" which are stationary. You must watch your power supply carefully and be wary of danger, for you must use the "hyperspace" function quickly, but sparingly as well. The goal of each level is to ascend to the summit of a mountain and "absorb" The Sentinel from his perch. This won't be a piece of cake though, as sentries, meanies and other "unfriendly" enemies will await your ascension.

Based on the classic hit Sentinel by Geoff Crammond, and featuring a soundtrack by "The King of Horror" John Carpenter, this journey into the bizarre is designed to force you to employ your wits and survive for your very existence!
