I recieved and installed my PPE lift lump. It seems to do everything its supposed to do. My truck no longer sets low rail pressure code when under a load. Product is pretty loud so no doubts when its running. A good product. If a person could come up with a way to insulate the pump to cut down up on the noise. Must have for a duramax!
If you have any duramax this is a definite requirement. I'm running hs tunes and my truck would trip fuel filter light under hard acceleration. I installed pump and not only does it hammer down all the way thru the powerband, throttle response is super crisp. I haul 25k 5 days a week and now it feels like the truck isn't even working hard. Hills my truck would struggle pulling now it hits them with authority and no down shift! If you can keep your foot off the throttle it easily yields another 1.5 mpg. This lift pump works!

The pump really works well, I've seen some negative remarks in some of the forums in that they may not be as long term a solution as a FASS or similar, but I'll tell you, some of us can't afford to throw around $ 700.00 on a whim. If you can get it for a deal, and thats less than $250, you did well. I've tried the factory carter lift pumps, the Holley and a Chinese knockoff. None can compare, and i didn't break the bank either. Btw 2001 Cummins.
