After releasing a now sold out, limited edition vinyl pressing for Record Store Day 2014, The Doors will now make their legendary, long out-of-print compilation WEIRD SCENES INSIDE THE GOLD MINE available for the first time as a 2-CD set. The 22 songs that appear on the collection provide a wide-ranging introduction to the music recorded between 1967-71 by the original quartet, John Densmore, Robby Krieger, Ray Manzarek and Jim Morrison. The band's longtime engineer Bruce Botnick re-mastered the music heard on this reissue, which takes it's title from a lyric in 'The End.'

      Wierd Scenes on disc Finally!

      I had this cd in three different versions when I was younger. I had it in LP, cassette and eight track and now finally in high quality cd version. This is absolutely fantastic. Now if we can just them to release The Doors 13 LP in remastered cd version that would be fantastic!

      Jim is eternally groovy

      This c.d. is remastered and sounds badass. A little low on recorded volume level. But Crystal clear. Jim and the Doors at their best. Great collection of awesome sounding songs. What more could a Doors fanatic ask for?? Buy, burn one and dig on some outta sight and farrout Jim and the Doors at a high volume level. Crank it up!!!! The absolute best of the best!!!!!
