I was having issues with my clutch dragging on a Shovelhead and was not able to find neutral when stopped. I replaced clutch plates, springs, pressure plate, actuating assembly, etc. - some multiple times. The only thing I did not replace was a brand new five-finger clutch hub (which Ultimately I believe was the problem). Ordered a Barnett Scorpion clutch based upon the reviews and Barnett's reputation for great products.
The assembly contains absolutely top quality components, and replaces the hub, plates, bearings, pressure plate and springs - the only component you reuse is the clutch shell. You need a press to assemble the unit, but if you have access to one it's about a 15 minute job. Everything went together perfectly and assembly is essentially the same as replacing the stock unit although the hub/bearing/shell are installed as a unit. Adjustment is the same as a stock clutch.
The Scorpion functions flawlessly. Smooth engagement and disengagement; shifting is also smooth and no drag at a stop at all. Finding neutral is a snap. Yes, it's a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend the unit.
