Simple mixed media techniques to paint boldly express the beauty of flowers.
I really like the way you can loosen up to paint : "seed" painting, where you make a series of quick sketches of poses you set your flowers in. I also like the way she teaches you to incorporate pastels into your painting, and still keep their vibrancy without standing apart. There are lots of fun excercises in this book to inspire you to paint. I like the way she takes the pressure off of painting a "perfect" picture. The only thing that's going to be hard is paying for all those flowers I want to paint!
