good high quality welding plug
very straight forward procedure for installing the wire to the plug. i used 10 gauge stranded wire. i stripped the insulation from the individual wires to the appropriate length according to the layout of the plug prongs. then, i bent the wires so that they would go into the receptacles for the wire at the ends of the plugs and then soaked the wire strands with hot solder so that the bent position of the stranded wire would become fixed. then i inserted the soldered bent forms into the receptacles and tightened the screw clamps. the green or common neutral wire was bent into a 90 degree position. for the two live wires (black and white in my case), i bent them into a 180 degree position instead of just running them straight into the receptacles as viewed from the back of the plug. this way, once i was done with the installation, any pulling force on the cable would not be able to pull it back out of the plug. there is a good clamp that secures the cable from wanting to be able to be pulled out of the plug, but the 180 degree 'hook' feature that i soldered into the end of the stranded wire makes it really impossible for the cable to be pulled out of the back of the plug device.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
