    Works well on DR650 w/ plastic IMS tank

    Works great on the IMS tank on my Suzuki dr650. No problem with rubber seal deterioration after more than 1 and 1/2 years. When I fill up the tank too much, then make a tight parking lot turn, some gas can siphon itself down the overflow hose. I don't particularly blame the gas cap... Not supposed to overfill gas tanks! Haven't tried it with a stubby hose with its own check valve.

    Vented universal gas cap

    Upon its arrival it looked good packing was nice even comes with Two stickers to put on your bike Opening item looks nice and new put on bike it's to big 👌 well the vent fit snug on the gas can Opening so I just used it like that come to find out the vent is not even one piece with the cap it's a separate piece glued to the cap I'm just using it till my oem cap come in the mail and it was cheaper

    Better cap overall.

    First off the picture is not correct, it shows the old cap. The new cap is one piece, it fits and seals but the threads are tight. The threads conform after being used a while and it works very well. Good value.

    Great cap

    WAY better than the original that came with the tank. It does seem a bit pricey; however, it's a great cap. Again, better design than the original and functions better as well. The new one will last longer (better use of the materials), and is much less likely to cross thread than the orig. Very happy with the product.

    Gas cap

    I needed a new gas cap for an older plastic aftermarket gas tank some previous owner put on a YZ250F dirt bike. The tank opening is larger than what is on most plastic tanks and the dimensions of the caps and what they fit are not generally given in any info I could find, so I took a chance and bought this cap. It fit fine but as a previous reviewer noted the one pictured in the ad looked different. So what! It screwed right on, now no nasty gasoline smell in the garage. I was not able to identify my tank (Clarke, IMS or whatever) which made this purchase a bit difficult, after all I didn't want to spend $20.00 on a gas cap. definitely recommend.

    Don’t worry if what you get is different from the picture. As long as you have a genuine IMS tank new or old this cap will fit and be better in every way. Also come with the inner gasket. Works perfectly.
