    My new VTech phone

    I just love this phone. I got it to replace my old phone which didn't have a speaker phone in it. This ' VTech does. Plus it has an intercom built in to all the handsets so I'm not tryin to holler through the walls anymore. I bought a brand new phone still in the original package for less than half the price of the same phone sold at other places. It even beat Wal Mart's price. But most of all I like it because the backlight display and numbers light up blue. It also arrived sooner than expected which was a nice surprise. The only drawback I found was I can't leave my yard and still have a signal like with other cordless phones I've tried. I will recommend it to others.

    Don't like it, ended up getting a Panasonic instead

    I had an old vtech that stopped working, so I wanted a replacement. It was a good phone, so I decided to go with vtech again. This model looked good in the picture, but in actuality it feels very cheaply made. Sound quality was not that good, intermittent static. The tipping point was the fact that it does not have a headset jack. I couldn't believe it. I've never seen a phone that didn't have one, it's a standard feature. It would be like buying a car and not having a glove compartment. I use an earbud when I talk and couldn't believe this phone didn't have one. I ended up buying a Panasonic for around the same price and it's a FAR superior phone in all regards. I used to like vtech, but I won't be buying any of their products again. They've lost the quality they used to be ...

    Used handsets needs to be deregistered from original base

    This is a great cordless phone but if you purchase an extra handset used it must be deregistered from original base in order to add to new system. There is no way to register a handset to a new base if it is still registered to the old base. I have had this problem with an AT&T handset as well.

    LOVE It!!!!

    Absolute best house phone EVER!! It offers features that I haven't had on a house phone before. Like spoken caller ID and a "push to talk" option so that u can communicate with other people in the house without having to yell. The display screen is a pretty blue and easy to read. I am super happy with this one!!
