When this was cleaned off, I did find a couple of very fine cracks. Although these were not mentioned in the description, these are commonplace in bows this old and the direction of them rendered them inconsequential. Before cleaning the bow, and carefully inspecting it, they were not visible. I am very happy with the purchase, and would not hesitate to do more business with the seller.
