If you're looking for "insulation from on-stage signals" and "sensitivity to impact & handling noise," no. More like a sensitive condenser. Had to put a pad on the line to tame it. Can only imagine what this would be like with a full band playing. Pretty much microphonic from sides of body. Very good clarity but not warm per se. Solid for recording; doubtful for live use. Decent mic for $.
