A good album that takes you back to some classy 70's pop/rock. Very enjoyable & recommended.
A nicely recorded live package from the version of 10cc, without Godley & Creme, courtesy of 4T's remastering.
The accompanying booklet provides some good background details taking you back to the time of the recording.
A cracking live band is assembled and all the players get their chance to shine on the broad range of material across the 2 discs, with early stuff like "Wall Street Shuffle", "I'm Not In Love" to later tracks from "Deceptive Bends".
All are brilliantly performed with some excellent guitar work on a number of tracks, especially "I'm Mandy, Fly Me" & "Second Sitting Of The Last Supper"", with Rick Fenn & Eric Stewart showing their dexterity.
The vocal harmonies are top notch and so identifiable as 10cc, even since the departure of Godley & Creme the new additions are up to the job with Stewart working so well with Goldman & co.
As I said earlier, there's a nice mix of the old & the "new", but also the short & commercial material, alongside the longer, album based tracks such as "Waterfall". All expertly delivered by the band who get the chance to let loose and improvise, as well as playing some of the staples.
