Das gebundene Werk ist als Erstauflage im Jahr 2006 im cbj , dem Kinder- und Jugendbuchverlag in der Verlagsgruppe Random House, erschienen. Das Werk ist nicht nur in geschriebener Form erhaltlich, sondern auch als Hoerbuch, das 2007 in der Erstauflage im angelino-Verlag erschienen ist. Durch den engen Kontakt des Autors zu Kindern, vor allem auch durch seine zahlreichen Lesungen an Schulen, ist ein zeitnahes und sehr amusantes Kinderbuch entstanden, in dem die Welt der Erwachsenen aus der Perspektive eines kleinen Madchens auf eine sehr lustige Art und Weise erzahlt wird. Im Folgenden wird die Biografie des Autors dargestellt, anschliessend wird ein grober UEberblick uber dessen Werke und Theaterstucke gegeben und es werden sowohl inhaltliche als auch formale Aspekte zu Kikis Welt aufgefuhrt. Abschliessend werden Vorschlage fur die Verwendung des Kinderbuchs im unterrichtlichen Kontext gegeben und durch eine persoenliche Stellungnahme zum Werk von Klaus Heilmann wird die Arbeit abgerundet.
