    Be careful installing this control.

    This control works as advertised but you must be careful with installation. The temperature probe is extremely fragile and will snap off easily. On the second attempt I taped the probe to the body with masking tape to ensure it wouldn't be broken. This is in contrast to the old one I removed where the probe couldn't be torn off with a pair of channellocks. They don't make things like they used to...

    The cold control is a part that commonly goes out and this one fits most.
