Surprisingly engaging!
I had heard about "The Orville" and decided to give it a try. As a long-time "Star Trek" fan, I had certain expectations. I have to say, those expectations were met! This is actually more "Star Trek"-y than a certain recent offering from the Star Trek franchise. Yeah, there are a few off-color jokes and the general tone is more light-hearted, as would be expected from a Seth McFarlane series, but this is pretty good! This crew visits alien planets, operates an advanced, highly technological starship and uses both their technology and wits to solve problems. Glad to hear it was picked up for a second season!

Be nice if I could watch the entire episode without the screen stopping and the jumping to the next scene and some scenes just turn into little pixels like lousy tv reception please contact me would like this made right thank you Nelson Noel .

Funny, worth the time to watch.
I would call this the Star Trek sequel we deserved. Funny with good writing through out. Looking forward to a second season. Very relatable characters as well, seemed based off real people.

If flows better than the original series
I have enjoyed this as much as the original Star Trek, perhaps more. While it follows to show current issues in society it does so in a not so pushy way. Obviously the graphics are way better than the original. The interaction between crew members good without it being too soap opera type.
