Item came as described. Swift dispatch from the seller. Secured the package for international travel. Condition and quality of the book was top notch superb and clearly had been well looked after, despite it's age. Delivery as well was extremely quick. So am chuffed to bits. Would gladly use this seller again. A rare 5*, so thank you for your custom and greetings from the UK.

Wow! Great condition just as described. Very well packaged and shipped fast. Nice price too! Same book I used in High School (1976) but didn't pay enough attention. Let's try again at 66 years old! Thanks folks!

  • Classic Manners, Classic Story

Also known as "The Story of the Stone", this is one of China's most famous classic novels. I love these boxed sets (just wish my order had included the box, but that's a minor point). I have not read it yet (it's 2500 pages!) but from what I've heard of it, it is an intricate story of Chinese manners in the 1700's. It is about youth and love and lifestyles then. This is NOT an adventure story, but its content still seems to inspire controversy among its Chinese readers; and it endures as one of China's great novels.
