This is a nice little aerator. It assembles in about 1/2 hour. I appreciate the fact that I can pull it behind the tractor while mowing. I have used it for about 6h now and it seems to work really well. Avoid going over rocks and thick three roots.

Easily assembled but when I used it, after three hours of aerating my one acre yard, After using it once I had to disassemble the unit and spend an hour in my shop pounding out straight again the tines on the wheels. Five were bent badly from hitting rocks and the two bracket arms at each end had bent. The brackets should be of heavier gauge metal and the tines should be a bit thicker. Also, the towing arm is far too short. It should be about eight or twelve inches longer. It is so short that backing up with the unit attached to the riding mower is impossible. Also there should be better loop attach points to secure the three cinder blocks which kept shifting on me. I would say that this is the best unit out there for the price but the manufacturer should make it a bit heftier for any kind of serious use.Read full review

This was relatively easy to assemble, using just a ratchet wrench &screw driver. Fully assembled, it is very sturdy, and easy to attach to the tractor. Throw a couple of cinder blocks on the pan and it's ready to go.

Easy to assemble and seems to be sturdy. You have to make a lot of passes to do a good job, but that’s not a problem if you have the time.
