Bad quality from a high grade firm
The brush head separated from the "handle" leaving the brush head inside the tube I was cleaning. I removed the spring loaded clip from the brush and then came up with another issue. In the second photo you can see why the brush head separated from the handle. I have no idea why Eheim made such a badly designed product, when the one before it was much better.

Eheim pipe cleaning brush
Very useful bit of kit. Cleans the filter pipes very well after a few pulls through and a good rinse. The only improvement I would suggest it to make the bristles on the brushes either a little less flexible or a little longer as this would make them more effective I think.
