Best glue is the business! Great fit, but these were bought as a kit and the colors are quite different, mids are black, woofs are grey..that was a bummer. I have bought foams from SS for years and will continue to.. just wish the woofs were darker. Last pic was the orig dark foams.

Appropriate kit for this speaker
It did fit Infinity Reference 3 speaker. Only the foam surround of the mid range driver needed replacement but the larger 8 inch surround will fit the woofer. The old glue and plastic retaining ring was surprisingly difficult to remove. I used alcohol but perhaps lacquer thinner would have softened the old glue more quickly. The new glue required 5-10 minutes to adhere the new surround and it was tricky to get just the right amount of glue down so was no large excess.It did fit Infinity Reference 3 speaker. Only the foam surround of the mid range driver needed replacement but the larger 8 inch surround will fit the woofer. The old glue and plastic retaining ring was surprisingly difficult to remove. Not easy at all
Everyone said, "Do it yourself, and save some money." I said, "But I've never done it before..". Everyone said, "It's easy!" So I went ahead and ordered the "new and improved" kit for my Infinity Crescendo speakers. Big mistake. The instructions are terrible! They aren't for your specific speakers. There was a lot of, "do this. Unless you have JBL speakers then don't do that unless you have Bose or Advent in which case you can do the first two steps and skip step three unless you have Polk speakers and a subwoofer." etc. My college education did not help at all trying to decipher the directions. The pictures made it even more confusing. There should be a glossary for those who don't know all the stereo speaker jargon. Seriously. It said to line up the holes in the foam with the holes ... Everyone said, "Do it yourself, and save some money." I said, "But I've never done it before..". Everyone said, "It's easy!" Anyway, after many hours of scraping and glueing, I think I have destroyed the woofer I was trying to fix. Wish I had just taken them somewhere for repair.
