Pump works fine after six continuous hours. Problem is the cooler may cycle on and off several times a day not allowing the pump to accumulate 6 continuous hours thereby allowing the water in the pan to accumulate 20 hours or more before cycle. Maybe even days worth before a cycle. Old school mechanical timers didn't forget where they left off.
