    This stator coil was a no go in my 82 ATC185S, it’s not an exact fit direct replacement either so I had to modify the bracket/housing for enough clearance to get this new one to bolt on. Had to grind material out of the bracket as well where the primary coil terminal is so it wouldn’t touch and short out and I could solder a wire onto it. It ohms out good but I’m getting pretty zero spark out of this stator. It is getting good ground and all the wiring is new? I see other ppl had success though

    It worked for my 185s

    Slightly different to oem but dropped right in the peg in the middle of the coil is where the hot wire goes it needs to be soldered in because of clearance.
