    PRESTON ROD-ROOST. Disappointed but lightweight & affordable

    I had to change insert to fit my On-Box 19mm legs. Turns in the wind with rods as cannot tighten enough. Preston need to make an fitting for On-Box, they can't expect us to buy OFF-BOX with 23mm legs just to perch our rods. Matrix make an expensive rod roost which may fit 19mm legs. Cheaper than buying an OFF-BOX.

    This item was delivered swiftly and with absolutely no problems. Totally recommend the supplier. The item is well made and does the job required. One problem I would point out is that the fittings supplied may not fit ALL boxes/ seats etc!! Apart from that it’s great.

    any angler will tell you its not a good idea to lay your rod on the ground or up against a tree, this product will solve the problem of damaged or broken rods, one of the better ideas to come on the market, good piece of kit.
